Hello everybody, in various threads I’ve mentioned how much I love the TCI pickups of the Paul’s 2018 Experience Guitar. Especially those pickups in the single coil mode. So I decided to make a quick video comparing the Paul’s TCI pickups versus my Paul’s Brushstroke 24 with the 408 pickups.

This is my first narrative electric guitar video so try not to be too hard on me LOL. I tried to keep riffs simple so you can hear the difference of the pickups and sound. Judge for yourself but as awesome as the 408 pickups sound in split mode and humbucker the Paul’s TCI pick ups are truly incredible. Excuse the mistakes in the video, made it with my iPhone. I would like to do a sound comparison video next of my PRS Special and a 513 Private Stock.

Here’s the link:

Cheers

I don’t know if “nail” is the word, but the experience one sounds more single-coil-y to me. The brushstroke still has that humbucker essence, less bright high end, fuller mids. Both sound good to me, though

Sounds great! I saw a YouTube video where a dealer called the TCI Paul’s guitar a revolution.

Also I could almost hear the airy springy tremolo tone on the brushstroke 24, especially after seeing it. :p

Both guitars are amazing, I’m waiting for Paul’s guitar with TCI and trem. That’s going to be a great combo. ;) Can a brother also get 24 frets too? :D I guess that would be pushing it..............
