Pattern vs pattern thin heel differences

I have a few PRS guitars that are all pattern (or wide fat) necks. I'm now lusting over one that happens to be pattern thin and I was wondering if the heel is the same on these necks. So in other words, will the heel feel larger on the pattern thin since it's more of a difference than on the pattern? Does that make sense?

I haven't noticed a difference in the overall relative size of the heel "feel" going from Pattern to Pattern Thin at all. But we're all different when it comes to this sort of thing, so YMMV.

I find both necks extremely playable, and I like going back and forth.

Indeed, i like the meaty feel of a wide fat sometimes, and other times i appreciate the slickness and speed of the wide-thin.

Wait, are we talking guitar necks?
