Pattern Regular Neck on a Studio

Does anyone know if the Pattern Regular neck is available on a Studio without going Private Stock (i.e., can I special order a Studio with a Pattern Regular profile)? The Pattern neck is my least favorite PRS neck carve, which is why my unbelievably light and beautiful McCarty 58 has pretty much been a case queen since purchasing it at Experience 2012. I have never got on with the wide-fat neck profile and I have very big hands. It is the reason why I fought with my 1995 Standard 24 for seven years before finally eBaying it in 2002.

They made a few of the first run of narrowfield studios with that shape I believe. Most I've seen though were wide thin.

The S2 studio has a pattern regular neck. Mine is a very unique sounding and beautiful guitar. It’s a keeper.

I think that I am going to go private stock. I planned to give myself a private stock guitar as a retirement present in 2023. Seeing that the lead times for private stock instruments are well over a year at this point in time, I should receive the instrument shortly before I retire. I received the private stock order sheet PDF yesterday. It is a bit daunting. I never considered most of the items on the sheet.

That’s a great way to go. As noted in your other thread, the sheet makes it look harder than it really is.

It is easy to go into options overload. So many variables. But so rewarding in the end.

And when I did mine almost six years ago, I calculated there were something like 6,000+ possible case combinations. So there's that to look forward to.

I just ran into this thread while researching Studios and the possibility of a Regular neck. How did things go?
