So...I just discovered via my wife checking Instagram, that my son's band will be performing on "Last Call With Carson Daly" on NBC. Tonight. Late.

On NBC. Which is a thing.

Thanks, guys! We stayed up and watched it - they did a great job, and it was really...well it was beyond exciting for us.

Plus...props to NBC for having a really nice format.

Thanks guys! Turns out that for some reason, the lead guitar wasn't in the main mix, just in mic bleed. So something was off. I think overall it sounded good, though.

I'm sure Noah was gnashing his teeth over this; what guitar player wouldn't be? But NBC's guys did a very good mix with what they had, and at first I wasn't aware it happened, even though I'm familiar with the material.

Thing is, Noah's been in Portugal, The Man, toured the world, Jamie's toured with 30 Seconds to Mars. So they know stuff happens. While the mix obviously wasn't perfect, I'm betting that the band balances out to being very happy to have been invited to perform on the show. Makes for a good story for later on, too!

Gotta look at the good side of this.

Turns out NBC went to the trouble of correcting the error in the mix, which I have to say, is pretty darn nice.
