Been looking at them on line for a while and there's one I always go back to look at once or twice a day.
Yesterday I went on a long road trip just to see it, well worth the trip.
This may become my next guitar?

Please feel free to post anything P24 related, thoughts, tips, experience or pictures.

I love mine! I just had a setup done and I love it even more.

I realize it's not the same thing, but being a P22 owner for the last few months has made me a very happy guy! Blending the piezo with the mag pups is a killer new mix of tones.
Incredible!

I'm also very interested in a P24 (and/or P22/P245/P245 Semi-Hollow/HB II/etc.) I don't think they would be a perfect replacement for a real, high quality acoustic when recording a straight acoustic part, but for live use, blended sounds, etc. from what I've heard they're great!

I'm sure they could also be good for recording strictly acoustic parts too, depending on what you're looking for, especially if you have a pedal that makes it sound more authentic. I believe the one people liked most last time it came up was from LR Baggs (who makes the piezo pickups in these guitars).

The P22 is a little different, but pretty close, and there are a couple of good videos with a guitarist from Porcupine Tree up on YouTube if you want to hear some good examples. They're what originally got me wanting a piezo-equipped PRS. :)

I love my wood library P24, I have others but for me and probably a lot of people a 24 fret double cut with a trem and flamed maple top is the iconic PRS. The P24 makes a great guitar that much more versatile with the option to blend and cover more acoustic tones. PRS trem works fine, no problem with tuning stability combined with phase 3 tuners. Was unsure but now I like the 5 way blade and the control knob and switch positions; it works well for this style of guitar. If i am using the piezo, I always run both mag and piezo outs separately and take the piezo through a LR Baggs ParaAcoustic DI box into pa or clean amp. I dig the somewhat different type of tone from the uncovered 57/08 neck p/u position on the 24 (no experience with 85/15 there). Only negative for me is mild disorientation switching off with a 22 fret short scale SC guitar, the P24 neck seems to extend out to infinity, I'm not sure why :). If it's your main or only axe I can't imagine it would be an issue. No issues with the neck shape.

Good luck, hope you get it and bond with it!
