P24 Piezo problem

Hello, the piezo system of my P24 does not work properly any more. During my last gig I realized that the higher 3 strings get picked up correctly, whereas the 3 lower strings don't. They are very silent (piano) compared to the higher ones. Performing the first song with the piezo, everything worked perfectly. But at the second song, the piezo problem began. I checked the battery and didn't change the factory setting of the inside trimmers. What can be the problem?
Thank you.

Sorry, I forget if it has one, but if it does -- did you accidentally hit the off switch? Red button next to jacks on most models equipped with a piezo. Unlikely, since that would render the entire thing nonfunctional.

EDIT: Disregard -- different brand.

Thanx for your answer. No, there is a 3-way switch for magnetic only - both together - piezo only. No off-switch. But the problem is, that it does work, but only the g,b and e strings are loud, the lower strings are too piano.

There is a ribbon cable from the bridge to the preamp (at least on my stoptail P22). Is it possible that worked partially loose due to maniacal trem dive bombing?. Seriously, if some strings still work, I would start there.

Thx, I'll check that. But, the lower strings get pickuped too, but the output is very low, but not zero.

Now I restringed my baby and realized, that now the low E is ok, the A is better and only the D string is weak on volume. I think, the piezo saddles are very sensible on how the string get layed in it. Do the saddles need special care, when restringing?

Red button? I've never seen or heard of that. Are you saying inside the guitar or outside?

Yes, Piezo crystals are sensitive to stress, particularly when used in a tremelo bridge. It is possible they, or one of them, could be damaged and need replacing. A phone call to PRS Customer Service will answer your question thoroughly. PRS has some of the best customer service I have ever witnessed. If you are familiar with Mesa Boogie's Customer Service, which is excellent, PRS is right there with them. I am hopeful the problem is something simple.
