A few things came up at work and it looks like I might have some extra money to go towards my P22... which I'm definitely going to get the Trem Version (just wish it was 24 fret).

I might get a regular P22 Trem in either Armando's Amethyst or Makena Blue with a Rosewood Neck and a 10-top
or
A P22 Trem Artist Package with a maple neck (and braz RW board) in either Blue Crab Blue, Makena Blue, or Teal Black (Natural Back)

Anyone have any input on the Maple Neck vs Rosewood Neck? I already have an artist package custom 22 (2003) I'm sure that the flames look nicer... but I'd like to get something really special with this guitar so I'm kind of leaning towards the artist package at this point (as long as the extras hold up at work lol).

Both those necks feel smooth as silk!
I've played both on that guitar but neither plugged in. Hopefully someone can be more helpful than me.
There's probably the obvious brighter/darker tone contrast between the 2.

I've got a Custom 22 Artist with maple neck & fretboard with 59/09's in it. It has a really sweet dark mojo to it that I bonded with immediately. Of all my guitars, this is the one I want to be buried with when the bucket finally gets kicked.

I like the idea of having a curly maple neck (my CE 22 Whale Blue kinda has a curl to it) I wish they could match the colour of the neck to the top of the guitar but I'm pretty sure that's only with Private Stock (about 5-10k more than I'm looking to spend).
