P22 Singlecut....Could it happen?

Oh yeah, I forgot to say it should have 408s, too. NOW we got knobs and switches!

I'm in, one P22/P408 Singlecut, pattern neck, trem, sig switching please.

I think I remember someone here trying to spec a SC piezo through PS a while back, and they said the piezo controls weren't compatible with the SC layout. But it would be sweet.

I remember that discussion, too. I think I remember there being a solution that was a slight variation on the electronics. Since I always run the piezo separately, just having it wired to its on jack is a simple fix--no need for the blend.

Of course, I'm fine with the P22 electronics, or a DGT setup + Piezo controls.

It can be done, and with trem!

A John Wesley Signature model?

That guitar rules, although I'd prefer SCT controls and not LP controls.... too many knobs! haha

I agree it's too crowded. I still prefer the LP style switching. Maybe just taking out one of the tone knobs and keeping the 2 volumes (a la DGT). If I could ever order a private stock it would be like that.

FYI: They won't do this option anymore. I tried to have it done on my PS and it was not possible.

That's interesting. I wonder why... did they give you a reason or just plain no? I understand not doing it in a regular production model, you can't please everyone... but on a PS??

As I understand it, the P22 (or P24) piezo only works with one volume and one tone control. I think there's another piezo option they can put on a PS but it's not as good as the P22 piezo.
