I've been preparing to order a P22 with a Rosewood Neck and Ten Top (either Makena Blue or Armando's Amethyst)... but I just saw a Used CE 22 in Amber. I have 2 CE 22's and love them... I'm kind of thinking that I might get a P22 with no extras AND pick up the CE 22, too!

That would bring my total of USA Paul Reed Smith's to 7 lol...

Thoughts?

My P22 is fairly plain and I love it. I do wish it had a rosewood neck though...

yeah. I might get both and just wait a little longer and get the rosewood neck and no 10 top lol... I think I've made up my mind already... might pick up the CE 22 tomorrow or tuesday and hold off a little bit to get the P22 with the rosewood neck and plain top.

Given you have 2 CE's already - I'd go straight for the rosewood if that's something you're after.

I had a P22RW and LOVED it, sounded absolutely fantastic with the stock 53/10's and the feel of a rosewood neck is hard to beat! ;) I'd say if you already have CE's, go with the rosewood neck on the P22, you'll dig it! :D

I don't think I can bring myself to get the P22 without the East Indian Rosewood Neck... I also don't think I have the will power to not buy the Used CE lol... I think I will have to make some sort of deal with the Guitar Police (AKA The Wife) and get both lol... I'm going to check out the CE tomorrow after work and god willing I'll be leaving the store with it!!

Ended up leaving the CE 22 behind... in favour of a '11 Custom 24 with a quilted 10 top (Red Fire Burst) and a pattern regular neck! I'll still probably get the P22 with the East Indian Rosewood Neck... but WOW!! I already have a Custom 22, but this Custom 24 feels amazing! I have to adjust the action (a little later) but it feels like I've owned the guitar for years!!

Thanks everyone for your opinions! I don't know what I was thinking when I thought it would be ok to not get the Rosewood Neck!!! When I order the P22 I will definitely add that on... until then I will be welcoming my 6th USA Paul Reed Smith into the family!!

Finally got the pictures working:
