Hi all,
Looking for suggestions on the best way to clean oxidized, tarnished Pick up Covers (58/15 LTs) and precautions to prevent from occurring frequently?

Yup, Blue Magic works pretty well--I use it here & there where needed. Even just a tiny bit with some (gentle) elbow grease usually provides a significant improvement.

Alembic turned me onto Flitz many years ago. Just a dap goes a long way and it protects too. I never tried Blue Magic, but if PRS recommends it…

Just used (you guessed it) Blue Magic to clean the PO’s rust/tarnish off the SS bridge saddles. Worked like a charm. FWIW, I used the “cream” (paste, actually) version so I could better control where it did/didn’t go. I’ve also used “Nevr-Dull” wadding with great results, and NO worries about it getting where it doesn’t belong.

I use Flitz as well. It works well, and if one uses the right cloth to apply (microfiber in my case), it doesn’t leave scratches and swirl marks.

My hardware needs it very, very rarely for some reason.
