GREEN ENERGY VERSION:
I've driven a few Sting Rays, Grand Sports and 3 Z06's. Drove my friends racing Z06 on the track a couple times. They all got my attention real quickly. But this... this is freakin incredible.
And apparently Chevy totally bought into what it took to make it special on this one.
If I had one of those, one guitar and Archon would be enough. No room for the cab? I'd take a freakin modeler if I was driving to the gig in that.
(Yes, I said that, Les. )
Hey, the wife has a full size crew cab truck. If I need more gear, she can follow me.
Can't you tell???
When we were in the biz, we'd see cars like that all the time. Sometimes as much as 6 months before they were allowed to be out. My dad had some good buddies at Pontiac and they'd bring all kinds of stuff over to show us. Sometimes with shrink wrap like stuff still on it, and no emblems, so people wouldn't know for sure what it was. Ha, the first Fiero they brought over had no emblems of any kind. When we took it for a ride, people followed us back to the dealership to see what it was.
Pics, or it's a.... uh... Yugo...
1 Oxen power!
I tried, but the damn thing broke my camera
I remember thinking that about the Ferrari 348. Thought it looked odd in pictures. Then a friend of mine got one. Awesome looking car.
Actually, I thought your pictures looked much better than those I've seen from press reports etc. Car looks good. Thanks for sharing!
Well, of course she’d bring your gear. And set it up. And get you something to drink. She has to do all that if she’s driving the crew cab.
Ah, a man of experience!
I just read that whole 2020 model year is sold out and they don't even start production until Feb.
National Enquirer? Or for real?
As reported officially by GM to Motortrend and the media.
WOWZER!!!!! That's crazy!! I smell a price increase.
I thought you were getting an RS6 Avant .... you can get plenty in one of those.
You are correct. I’m not sure I can afford everything I could fit in it.
There are dealers that still have unsold allotments. I’m told you can basically only pick the colors and maybe the wheels; no performance upgrades.
Yeah, that's one of my main responses to cars like that. "Where do you put your amp?" Also, being 6'6" tall, I would never expect to fit in the car in the 1st place. It's a short person's world.
