OT: amp question...

I used to have the MKI version years ago, but has anyone actually played through or owned the
Hughes & Kettner Triamp MarkIII ?

I'm thinking about a kazillion tube house toy... LoL!

I'm assuming no one has played one... LoL!

Like I said, I had a Triamp MkI years ago, and I also had a H&K Duotone (which was actually an EXCELLENT 2 channel combo amp!).

They both had excellent clean channels, very Fender-y... Distortions were decent. Unbelievable transformers in them.

LoL! What's funny is I think he is Axe FX III completely now, or at least Axe FX II.

I'm Axe FX III, but I want an interesting super multi channel amp to play around with. My custom amps are
Fender-ish heads and kicked with pedals (when I actually play them anymore).

Oops... Just bought a used Triamp MkIII that included a case for $2500 on Reverb.

Guess we'll see how it works out...
