Original Violin guitars

Anyone remembers roughly how much the original violin guitars (pernambuco necks, 50 pieces produced) retailed for when they came out?

I think they were like $25k when they came out.....

I think the first batch of violins were $12,500. The Paul's
28 was around $30,000. (Retails)
