Original McCarty Question

Hey all...I messed around with an older Mccarty (w/full rosewood neck) yesterday, and noticed it did not have the Push/pull tone knob.
Basically just 2 HBs, and a 3 way switch. Pretty sure it was made for an artist, too...
But the question is, Did McCarty guitars always come stock with the Push/Pull, or was there a time where they did not???

I dunno, but every RW neck deserves to be added to the arsenal (push/pull or not). Do it!

I hope it was consentual ;-).

What I like about McCarties is exactly that simplicity. Fundamentals, with a big core tone.

That would make an adult happy meal worth it if it came with a McCarty! Maybe PRS has an untapped market...except for the first year...no taps (or splits) it seems.

I know it's not the earliest year, but my 2001 McRosie has push/pull.
You should buy it and play it.

Earlier this year I purchased one of the “first 100” McCartys. (1994). Described: “The coil split wires are there but never hooked up at the factory and a pull pot was never used - 100% original factory wiring with unbroken solder joints.” Not sure what happened afterwards.
