What's with the crazy price? OK, the 3M is kind of a whatever. Maybe that's right, but the extra 51,757.07? Somebody's joke, but I don't get it.

Abby Road, Plastic Ono Band, McCartney, and All Things Must Pass are all really great records (and some are in the top recordings for each act), though McCartney was mostly recorded at Paul's house, so dunno about that. Perhaps "Junk" . . .

Given that the McCartney thing is a little misleading, maybe I can get the extra 51K knocked off the price.

From the listing:

This item is being sold by way of closed bidding. The price is variable according to the highest bid. The highest bid will win the sale at the seller's discretion, and buyer is subject to screening to ensure the sale is made in accordance with applicable laws. If you are interested in making a bid on the console, send your offer using the “Make an offer” button. Shipping costs to be negotiated with the seller.

So the 51,757.07 is probably due to the variable pricing as mentioned in the blurb from the listing and/or exchange rate conversions to US dollars (it is being sold from UK).

In other words, make an offer and maybe we'll take it. That isn't what I call variable pricing!

Perhaps it could have been worded better. I was just trying to address your comment of the odd value after the $3 mil ;~)) Besides, isn't an auction an excellent example of variable pricing? The price is constantly changing, which sounds very variable!

My Guess Is The Seller Had Been Drinking And Maybe Indulging In Some Narcotics (Allegedly/Maybe or Not) And Passed Out And Smacked Their Head On The Keyboard And Those Numbers Are What Appeared From The Impact. When The Seller Came To There Was Nothing To Be Remembered From The Night Before So They Figured That Must Have Been The Price That Made Sense And They Went With It. A Historic, Rock And Roll Version Of A Butt Dial...In A Face Plant Sort Of Way...If You Will. 😂
