Opinions on the 408 standard

Thinking of the 408 Standard, so any thoughts, opinions, advise?

advantages / disadvantages over the Maple Top?

I have a P22, a Mira and Singlecut Hollowbody II, will this overlap with anything?

All I can say is I love mine nothing wrong unless you need the fancy top.

I would rock a standard 408. Wish there was one within a 300 mile radius for me to go try.

The 408 Standard is an awesome beast. Mine is the same config as Rider's - mahog body w/rosewood neck. I ordered it at Experience the year they introduced them, and when it arrived, I opened the case and strummed it - still in the case. I almost jumped back - it is loud acoustically. It's pretty much my #1, with only my DGT and Tremonti really rivaling it.
