Managed to get it done, but it wasn't as easy as I had assumed it would be!! Fiddly is a good word for it!!

Great news! Yeah, tricky little buggers, those springs...

instead of springs i use pieces from a silicon hose on all guitars... :wink:

I definitely recommend this book to help you do repairs. It's helped prevent me from accidentally messing something up.
