I highly recommend for any Floyd Rose guitar that tremolo floats installing the following---
1. Any trem stabilizer designed like the ESP Arming Adjuster/Floyd Rose Trem-endus.
2. Tone Vise brand keyless nut lock blocks.
3. Tone Vise detuner. (Works in a regular floating style routing, unlike the D-tuna).

Sorry... corrected to make it Tone VISE instead of Tone LOCK.... post midnight posting syndrome. LoL!

Well done!

I couldn’t find anything about the Tone Lock detuner. Do you have a link, please?

Sorry, it's Tone VISE, not Tone Lock... Post-midnight forum typing syndrome!

You want both of these since your "fine tuner" for when you're in E doesn't work. However, you flip
a lever, tune your E string if ever needed, lock it back, and then fine tune the Drop D if necessary.
It's as easy as tuning an standard guitar again for the most part. Trust me!!!

Also best to install and setup one of these type stabilizers as well... I have used all 3 brands/types, including the new gold/brass looking one.

I think David has one of those 4 wire Super O-Bucker 12 screw ones on the site now for sale and in stock.
If you want some kick butt rock tone that does well when you roll off the volume for more classic vibe, it's
a GREAT bridge pickup. It's not quite as insane as you'd expect with that ohmic value for the windings in humbucker
mode.

Thanks, guys!

Replaced a pot on my Orianthi today... That new digital soldering has retired the Weller to backup duty!!! In the middle of gutting my Les Paul to install a pair of zhangbucker.com custom wound pickups and add push/pull tone knob coil taps!

I haven't done this much soldering since replacing all my Yukon XL dyeing wheel, dash and control panel lights with blue LED's! LoL!
