Really, one would assume that if PRS is going to make the CE24 again, the CE22 won't be far behind. So I'm not surprised. Interested to see if it will feature the 58/15's, or something else to differentiate it. And maybe a slightly meatier neck carve...

This makes the most sense. People (I) want a USA baritone. They (I) have for a very long time. The CE platform make the most sense for a USA baritone. They wouldn't have to make special bodies, especially if the new CE22 is going to be a reality. This will keep costs low. All they have to do is make a conversion neck that fits CE22 bodies. Make the necks, keep them around and have the CE baritone be special order only. Or better yet, sell the baritone necks through the PTC. That way they don't have every Joe Schmoe attempting neck swaps. I mean, it's pretty damn easy, but being an IT Tech for 17 years has taught me that no matter how many ways you try to make things easy for people, they ALWAYS find a new way of screwing it up.
