Jeff Pumfrett, owner and face of World Guitars (UK) passed away suffering from a heart attack a few days ago. He´ll be buried at 27th NOV.

Though I never bought a PRS at his shop I liked his Queen´s English very much. And his PRS presentations were awesome.

This is a fine sample of his fine sense of British humor:

And another piece, showing him heading through all the relevant boothes at Musik Messe 2013. From 4:24 to 8:09 it´s all about PRS.

RIP Jeff Pumfrett, may your soul remain at World Guitars!

Rob Chapman interviewed him in 2010. Jeff stated (at approx. 10:23): "I´m gonna do this ´til I drop! I love it!"
Bad that this point has been reached 5 years later.

Jeff was a great friend to me. He will be sorely missed by his family and everyone that knew him. A real character and a gentleman in every way.

RIP my friend.

I didn't knew him, but I always liked his videos. It seems he was a great and fun guy.
I love the "So British" humor. He will be missed...

RIP

I was shocked and saddened to hear this over the weekend. Jeff was a real character and will be missed by many of us in the UK. A straight talker and real enthusiast for quality gear and obviously a great salesman. I bought my GT DGT from Jeff last spring.

Paul always appeared to be close to Jeff in those Videos - like they were old friends. Jeffs been dealing in PRS since the start and has no doubt helped Paul and PRS (along with all the other dealers who took a chance on PRS) along the way to become the company they are today.

RIP Jeff

Wow. That is really sad. RIP, Jeff.

I bought a guitar from Jeff a couple of years ago and had it shipped to the states. He was always very kind and helpful. Made the transaction much smoother than it could have been.

That's a shame...I didn't know him, but watching the videos, it seems like he was a very special guy.

I was shocked to hear about Jeffs passing.
I bought my first core PRS from Jeff, he was friendly, helpful and a real character to boot, my thoughts go out to his family.

I liked him and he's also had one of the best demo guy's in Stewart who's a monster guitarist.

Sad news. I never met him or dealt with him, but I enjoyed the videos he did. He struck me as a genuine Good Guy. May he Rest In Peace.
