It's definitely disappointing when they do this. I was sold on the latest run of Bernies and would definitely buy one if they were available in the US. I understand it's all about reading the market, but it still a bit frustrating.

Each dealer or distributor can do a special run for their particular market or store. The EU distributor has requested these colors for the European market. I know some US dealers have done exclusive edition SE's for their stores as well.

If you've tried to buy a car recently, or just looked around the streets, you'll see that vibrant colors are anathema to the American consumer. White, black, 4 shades of gray/silver, and maybe a muted red or blue.

Because they aren't just women's 'intimates' colours. And because they a lot more cheerful looking than the stealth matt grey we had earlier this year. (And magenta would have been an awesome addition to the collection if anyone from PRS wants an idea)
