As we continue to be invited by PRS Guitars to come to the factory to pick wood for our Private Stock and Wood Library run Guitars, I may have just found the most outstanding piece of Flamed KOA EVER.

See for yourself, In 23 years of going to PRS guitars even the employees were saying they never saw a piece of KOA coming looking like this - a unique and Unreal piece of wood, Literally one in a million piece of wood and then to find it in a matching set is near impossible.

Can any of the sapwood center be saved? It does look like it might be tough to save much.

Steve I asked the same question, The Sap has some curve to it on the back side so to square off the wood, it looks like most of it will need to come out, They are going to try to keep what they can. That is why you see the Note " See PM before joining"

That’s gonna be a sweet one, Jack!

Would look great next to Koa Sister #1, solid 1 piece koa body. Just saying! ;)

Geez Jack...when you were telling me about that piece of Koa you weren't kidding - AMAZING!!

If these are truly one in a million pieces, then why make them into an HB2 instead of two guitars? Depending on the specs I could've been in line for one of them... :)
