See, my E-vil plan was to try and confirm my suspicions ... That with the purchase and installation of a MannMade 2040 All Brass Killa Dilla bridge ...

I could revel in the fantasy that my lowly SE CU24 ... has crept that much closer to "COREDOM "

The thing looks beautiful, and while not drastic, the differences it makes are subtle but distinctive. I am now of the philosophy, that if you want to change the pickups in your SE to improve its tone ... You should really start with the bridge instead. That KillaDilla bridge, allows you you wrench all the potential out of your existing set up , and hear what your pickups can actually do.

I already fell into the "Pickups First" crowd, but I find that by replacing the bridge in the other version, that I really can like what the G&B 85/15S pickup can do. Still , not my fav EQ, but they are sounding waay more musical, and will probably stay in the guitar.

The guitar with the upgraded pickups ... ? Is next in line for the bridge !

Well, they credit him with Gen I .... but are mumm on the successor models ... (but one has to think )
