Ok, you don’t have to guess. I’ll tell you. I got a pedal that has a name so goofy that I swore when I got one I’d put tape over the name. Rhymes with “course feet.”

:D Ok, I still think the name is silly, but holy crap!!! I’m going to temper this because I only tried it with one amp/cab combo and two guitars. PRS Blistertone>Mesa 2x12 vertical recto cab, EBMM Axis and PRS NF3. Also I only played for about 35 minutes.

So this is a limited, first reaction. I did a little dialing. And despite my disclaimers, that this is only a “first impression” my first impression is “HOLY CRAP this thing sounds incredible!” I mean like WOW…. I want to play it more before I say more, but the first impression blew me away!

As of now, PRS is hitting it out of the park with these pedals. The Mary Cries I’ve had for a year now and it’s a fantastic comp. If the “course feet” is as good as it seems now, it’s an absolute grand slam. In fact, when Mrs. DTR (or wait, I better call her Mrs Winger this week) went to bed, as I walked out of the music room I was so enamored by what I’d just heard, that I thought “I know I said $350 was too much for a pedal that will probably get light use, compared to an OD or comp, but if these pedals are that great maybe I need to check out a Wind Through the Trees, right away! LOL.

Back to the Morse Sleet, Dang, this thing sounded GREAT!

I added the Whoresmeet just to complete the trifecta after the Mary Cries and WTTT were so impressive. After trying it, I realized it was as good as the other two at what it does. They did a great job on all of them!

"Don't you dare keep reading these tempting posts, Mr. Laz! If your dementia is bad enough to induce you to buy pedals, move that heavy pedalboard, and start the pedal install/rewiring thing all over, they're going to put you in an assisted living facility."

"Wait, you're saying this isn't an assisted living facility? Then who's that nurse?"

"That's your wife."

"I didn't realize she was a nurse! Hey, let's order some pedals and press the call button and see if we can have one of the other nurses bring us some velcro. Don't worry, I'm not gonna lift the pedalboard, you're going to lift the pedalboard."

Glad to see that it wasn't an STD that you got.

I have been intrigued by that pedal since it was released. I honestly don't need another drive pedal. I have so many now that it would just get thrown in the mix. I know it is Klon based. I have a clone in the build process that I need to finish. I am hoping that will scratch the itch to try it. I also have the Wampler Gearbox which has the Tumnus on the right side and I like that quite a bit.

If I read PRSh right, it's not really Klon based in circuit, but was at least partially the goal, to have something that could sound similar in the end results. Full disclosure, I've never owned a Klon or a clone of one but have several pedals that supposedly do it very well. That said, (again, initial impression) this is more versatile than that. B and T controls (with typical PRS ability to sound good through the full range of the knob) but the key is the "voice" control. Like a Zen drive, this sweeps the frequency range of your boost. A Klon can't do that, and while a Klon "may" be boosted in the range that is perfect for your rig, the sweep allows you to MAKE it perfect... for your rig today, tomorrow, this amp and that amp, this cab and that one... I'm telling you like I did with the Black Magic Zen drive, the sweep is THE thing. More later.

And now I am looking at prices on these. I blame you... Come back to the forum and WR has me looking to spend money. I would have expected this from DTR, not you. :)

For two such diverse groups they named themselves after, these two members seem to have many similar characteristics. I mean even, Julie and Sofia, as different as they are, were on the same show for 10 years. They both love the Archon... I mean, if someone didn't know better, I could see how they could confused the two.

Julie is hot but, Sofia, come on now...game over. She is the whole reason I watched that show. :)

When the show started, I thought Julie was prettier than Sofia. But Julie is that kind of "perfect pretty" where she just grows on you. Sofia is wildly sexy with all the big curves and things that attract you immediately, and she's even prettier now than she was when the show started.

Sophia or Julie? Well, that is a tough choice. And what is this "Whore's Feet" fetish that you speak so highly about?
