Wasn't in the market for a 408 but I'd been looking for a solid body w/o a fancy top for fusion and rock shredding and accompanying R&B vocalists in the SF bars. Ran across a slightly abused 408 in that frost blue for a ridiculously low $, it needs a little TLC but it's a 2013 so the frets are nice and tall. After I redo the intonation and block off the tremolo, it'll be ready to roll. Just gotta find a decent match for some touchup paint.

....and the fam,

Forgive the poor quality cellphone pics.

Nice! Welcome to Club 408 - they're great guitars, and the frost blue ones sound better than the rest!

Thanks all, yes the color is a bonus, reminds me of my old 63 Nova. The real pain is going to be finding some touch up paint cause there's a good size cord end ding on the face, just cosmetic (I know) but with the right color match I can do the finish work.
That said, I'm going to look real funny at anybody talking about pre-anything PRS. After doing a full setup and truss rod adjustment this thing plays and intonates better than any of the older models I've owned, I think they're making them better now.

Nice score for two reasons. One, gotta love the 408. Two, that means the Orange Korina McCarty is still there for the taking!

 Too funny.

Yea I was torn on the Korina stuff at Dave's but you tested out the best looking pieces when you were scouting for me. If you end up with it you for sure have GAS.

That little ding isn't worth noticing. You need to get a few more just like it. I'm looking for one just like her! Congrats!
