As was discussed last week, we need a new forum term for "drunk posting," "Posting while intoxicated," "Posting while under the influence" or whatever you would like to call it. We will be counting the replies from now til Friday night, at which time we'll christen the new abbreviation for this new forum term. This way, when someone gets grumpy, loopy, or behaves in a questionable manner, we can just post the abbreviation, much as we do "Pie" now in the Pie circumstances.

Please list your favorite term and abbreviation below. Votes tallied 4/26/19

I personally have not used the term yet, so perhaps that one would be better left to Bodia, Sergio, or one of the other, more well versed forum members.

Didn't acting grumpy, loopy or behaving in a questionable manner during the 70s made rock what it is today and Hunter Thompson a rich man?

This. Moody, teenage rebelliousness and angst translates to parental "I'm fine" and "No, you're not receiving your allowance early, young man."

    PUI

And "Pie" has traditionally been used by someone/anyone who wishes to diffuse an escalating/possible argument in an effort to talk about something most all of us agree is delicious, even though we all prefer different types of "Pie".

Oh, we're not trying to stop this behavior, just to have a prepared response which will be funny to those who "get it."

Oh, this will be used more for amusement than for smacking of the hand. I mean, we've had a few times lately when someone needed to get their ruler out, but I'm more interested in having fun.

Nah - go with a well-chorused forum member. Their explanation will be catchier, and that's the part you'll remember.

It’s after 5 PM, so I’m having a Monkey 47 martini right now, and thinking about making a drunk post.

    “You don’t seem drunk.”

“I’m only a couple of sips in. Come back later.”

"DOINK" - Drunk Or Intoxicated Nonsensical Keyboarding. Kind of has an old time cartoon sound.

Well, I’d just call it DUI, but Dave’s PUI is punnier.
