Well, I was somewhat apprehensive to ship it away, but last Friday I put my old CU24 on a truck to Stevensville. I figured that 20 years of abuse deserves some nice treatment, PTC guys estimated a two-week turnaround. It will be nice to have level frets again and a good set up.

You won't regret it! When you get it back it will feel brand spankin' new but still be the guitar you love to play!

My main guitar is about to turn 10. I was thinking about doing the same thing but I'm not really sure it needs it!

The frets on mine are pretty worn out. I'm hoping the crown/leveling is all it needs and not a total refret. It has gotten really difficult to set the thing up so, clearly, it needs work. I look forward to getting it back, it is my number one1

I just had a refret done by PTC. You will love it..

Well, FedEx tells me it arrived there Wednesday. Nobody called, so I assume Fedex didn't use it for target practice on the way.

It just came back today. They did a fantastic job on the fretwork. I'm stoked!

PTC also replaced the nut and did a very good job. I'd recommend them for this work to anyone.
