This is my 2012 SE Santana in "vintage sunburst" to me it looks like a quilt maple top and none of the SE models have that. I also am not able to find this guitar in any stores and have never seen another one like it. Please let me know if you own or have seen one like it.

Sorry, can't view your dropbox file. But Guitar Center did a large run of quilt Santana SE's and one or two other models (Custom 24, maybe 245?) around the time yours was made. And some other retailers get special finish options from time to time as well. Quilt is dead sexy on SE's!

Can't see your photo, but here's another SE quilt...

I think it's a privacy issue with Dropbox, you can see it because it's in your account and your browser is logged in.

Edit: Also, DAMN, that quilt!!!!

Funny story about it too: I bought one at guitar center and I got home and it had a crack in the finish ( it turns out they just gave me the one on the showroom floor) so they shipped another one because they only had that one in the shop. The first one that was cracked was tobacco sunburst which wasn't quilted or anything. I got that one and had no idea what it was and still can't figure out what it is or where you can buy them.

I have no idea and i'm okay with that. All I know is that it looks good and sounds even better.

It does, and I bet it does. The 245's in there are my favorite SE pickups, by far.

Honestly, that finish is one of the best for a nice quilt. The yellow on my custom, I could take it or leave it, I just like the figure of the top. The Singlecut is a total stunner, but it only pops in the right light - in dark or even moderate lighting, it just looks black. Which is still cool, but yours probably kills in any situation!

Update: i've found the guitar on amazon. For a thousand bucks. i'm not sure why they're selling for 300 more than retail.http://www.amazon.com/dp/B012L08JNQ...&ascsubtag=2c11ed59d2e4ce5d275b65531d24744e_S
