I just picked up my CE24 for the second time from a local guy who works out of a music store. Honestly, the past couple times I had him work on something the work was fine. But I took my guitar in to switch out the pickups and give the thing a complete strobe/setup. First time I get it home after about an hour the first three frets sound like a sitar from all the buzz. Okay, fine, everyone screws up, maybe the strings really stretched out more than he thought, whatever. I bring it back Monday, he calls to apologize and tell me he's on it. I pick it up today and I could immediately tell something was off. Checking against the tuner, two of the strings were over 30 cents sharp on the twelfth fret.
Strike two is enough. I need a new tech. I figured someone on here might have a reco? I'm in Queens but will go anywhere that isn't Jersey or Staten Island (or the parts of town where you have a 1 in 3 chance of surviving the subway these days).
