Got some wing buttons from PRS Europe for my Mira today. Third of the price of the faux bone phase III buttons in the store. I recently refurbished the tuners removing the tarnish form the nickel plating and brass posts with a fine fret rubber and re-greasing.

I found it strange they ship with Fillister screws when the holes are countersunk so I used the screws from the original buttons.

The only negative I can say is that where the plastic is injected some holes are left behind, very small but a bit ugly.

The shape feels strange to turn but I will get used to them

I like the side by side shot with the silver ones. Shows that the shape really does compliment the headstock more than the original.

Here are the wings against the normal faux bone buttons. The left DGT's have a grained ivory look while the wings are plain with a satin feel and look but match the colour of the modern PRS pickup rings

Probably not since they are specified for the Phase III tuners.
Phase II are made by Schaller I believe, Phase III are made by Gotoh (my 2011 Mira Phase III have Gotoh cast into them).
I don't have any Phase II or Schaller tuners to try them on.

This guitar rings like a bell anyway. To me this is just a visual upgrade.

Thanks for the side by side pix! It warms me up a bit to them shape wise!! I still don't like the cream color for any plastics on most PRSi, but that is just me!!!

I much prefer the new bone colour of the plastics over the old cream
