I get that a lot. Opening the case of a lowly SE, and I hear; "Oh yeah, you can tell that is an expensive US model." LOL. Even after they pick up the guitar, the compliments just keep coming.

Guitar came in today from Dave's Guitar Shop (Lacrosse, Wisconsin) today. It included a PRS hard-shell form fit case
and both it (case) and guitar looked brand new.
Neck is real chunky, pickups are surprisingly good. I had watched a YouTube video that mentioned the volume controls are
different from Gibson orientation, otherwise I might have wondered what was the deal was.....
Guitar is heavier than my Strats,Tele, SG or other PRS SE's, so gonna have to pick up a good strap.
Played a little slide on it and it will work on that, too.
Overall, quite pleased with the guitar and service from Dave's.

the guys at Dave’s are really great. Still waiting for a call about when I can expect my 35th anniversary SE, but they are really the best.
