I hadn't purchased a new guitar in a while and so there I was. Non-commited, single, free, swiping left searching in vain for those famous double cut curves. I wanted something well figured. But not conservative. It had to be hot. Raunchy. At the same time I wanted to be able to tame it. Like a low smolder burning throughout a cold winter. Not just some explosive summer fling. And then it hit me. P90s... In all my escapades I would be remiss to say that I had never taken one home with me.
That fantasy was just stuck in my head. Being able to turn those knobs until just under break up, but then all the way back down to a tempered tone.
After weeks of searching for the right fit, there it was. Ted. A beautiful top that would stop anyone in their tracks. Not a newer model but definitely more experienced. Ted had a story and most in the forum either experienced first hand or lauded Ted's legend.
It didn't come easy. Those late nights waiting spent refreshing my forum inbox. Feeling it out. The joy and excitement of that red check indicating a new message.
And then in a flash, there was Ted. At my door.
