New Pickip Ring Day

Swapped out the original rings on my 2011 Mira for the newer stoptail version. No difference with the neck but the bridge is nearly twice as thick. Hides the pickup nicely now. Not a huge upgrade but it finishes it off with the wing buttons. I did this mod to my 2016 McCarty and found the original height screws were too short, got in touch with PRS Europe and they sent me some longer screws for free. They have changed the design inside the ring and they are a different shade of black.

Ideal upgrade. I've got the same upgrade ready-to-go for my Stripped 58 (the bridge pickup ring is quite short and the pickup sticks out quite tall); just waiting for the next string-change to make it happen.

That angle is perfect for the bridge pickup.
The bridge ring angle is perfect but the neck is just the standard ring used on the trem guitars and tipped back compared to the neck.

I got away with loosening my strings and sliding the pickups out the side, but I have half a post of wrap as PRS string them nowadays.
