Ever since I sold a really sweet modular pedalboard a few years ago, I've basically had my pedals on a simple board I made, along with a power supply or two, and a tangle of cables. Well, a flat board is pretty functional for the first row of pedals, but after that it kinda falls short and it becomes a mishmash of little inconveniences. It's also hard to take it to a session unless you buy a case for it.
So I've yearned for a cool pedalboard, and I finally got around to ordering one from Rockfoot Pedalboards. I've had my eye on these for a few months. This is their Tour Pedalboard (the one I have coming is black tolex with a tan insert, not tweed like this one):

In addition to the matching lid feature, the board has a hinged velcro top surface for the pedals, so that you don't have to turn the board upside-down to work with the power supply or thread the cables. There are two power outlets and a lighted power switch, and four jacks to connect the board and pedals to the outside world. All connections are under the lid, to keep dirt and crud out. Not that I have dirt and crud, but what the heck, it could rain or snow when I'm going somewhere.

I'm excited to wire this thing up and get it going!
