This MUST be a joke - hard to tell. If so, great sense of humor. If not, this guy is a world-class grease-ball.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Paul-Reed-S...r-/181181660749?pt=Guitar&hash=item2a2f44be4d

Copy from the ad - which is sure to get nuked:

"JMPRS-100 Custom made by Paul Reed Smith using Dillion Stock Parts. It's hard to
see in the pictures taken by IPhone 4 BUT Everything about this guitar is Custom!
Grover Tuners Valued at $100! Vintage Tuning Knobs! Ignore the Made In Korea on
the Head Stock, that's an inside joke for the guys that made it. This Guitar was Made
in the Good Ole U.S. Of A Baby! The Body is made of rich Mahogany! It's Kind of a Big Deal!
The Pickup is a custom hand wound pickup based on the 1970 Gibson Studio Les Paul
I played on Mifology! The sound and feel on this solid body light weight guitar are A-MAZING!
It has the cleanest clean tone but also one of the greatest bluesy crunches EV-OR!
The Crunch sounds like if Jimmy Page's Les Paul on How The West Was Won had a baby
with Angus Young's SG! With all the mods and customization this baby SHOULD BE around
$3,500-$4,000. I'm selling it for $2,5000 WITH Hardcase. This is truly an original guitar.
1 of 1 ever made. This guitar was used twice live- Live at Maxwell's and Live at Seton Hall
with the Joe Mifsud Band. Also used for recording Stay Calm and Carry On."

And the guitar?

Note to Seller: Ignore the boot, and just concentrate on my foot inside of it and the force with which it connects with your nether regions. It'll be Kind of a Big Deal. The crunch will sound like if an anvil dropped from a height of fifty feet and landing on a canvas bag full of pecans had a baby with the blaring siren from a WWII Ju-87 Stuka dive bomber. The sound and feel will be A-MAZING!

P.S. - Give up the drugs. They aren't working.

It looks like that person who posted that has seen Anchorman one too many times. :dontknow:

"I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany. I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal." - Ron Burgundy

Aqualung!

Does he have a bridge to sell also? (I actually asked that on E-Bay). We should all let him have it with questions about his absurd claims.

SO much This.

and honestly what I found funniest was that he wouldnt show the headstock's face and the fact that he hkeeps his solidbody guitar in an acoustic case:rofl::spitcoffee:

Call me crazy, but I questioned the guy about his ebay post. I can't help myself but I work for a very large law enforcement agency and felt compelled to question him. Here's the response I got:

"I questioned the person that got me that guitar, it was given to me as a gift, and how quickly the story changed from him. It's as you said It's a Dillion Les Paul Jr Jr Custom. It's a really good guitar. This guitar will re list at $450 with hard shell case if interested. but for your benefit, you need to learn some manners. You don't just email people out of the blue and call them frauds and attack them and harass them. You could have tactfully asked me what's the deal with the guitar. This was an honest mistake and not intention. I apologize for my mislisting and and I will be re listing the guitar properly."

For the record, I hardly attacked him. I just asked him if he also had a bridge for sale. His overly defensive reaction maybe saved an ignorant sole from falling for his fraud. I should question him about selling his revised listing at $450 but I got other things to do.

Good Job bringing this to our attention Dear Mr. Big Fat Moderator.
