Please be advised, that as of 22 August 2021. the "Pattern Vintage " neck carve is hereby Crimes Against Music ( AKA as CAM or "Crimes) approved for use in perpetuating musical mayhem. After 2 successful test outings, this chunky neck carve, no longer protects PRS from secondary liability from suits others may bring against the manufacturer when / if subjected to the malady of hearing Crimes Against Music use their stuff. (Rumor has it that Brand's F & G pay the perpetrator for exclusive use of PRS guitars.
So with this action PRS is further exposed to liability as CAM can now plan the acquisition of additional S2 McCarty's (DC in Dark Cherry Burst) as well as additional SE Hollowbodies, as the "Wide/Fat Hollowbody neck carve , has led to the adoption of the chunkier Pattern Vintage neck carve.
To act to mitigate its liability for tort litigation caused by the adoption by CAM for future Crimes ... PRS should:
1. Plan an SE Hollowbody II (other than the Piezo) , with the really cool spalted maple binding ,and abalone fretboard birds . PRS could argue that its not their fault, that with the addition of these already available features on a SE Hollowbody II (In Dark Cherry Burst, w/ a really flamey / stripey top) that a guitar junky would zealously adopt these common adds ... and buy another guitar ! Not PRS's fault.
2. Then with CAM diverted to chunkier neck carves, PRS could argue that they had no idea that with the introduction of the S2 Thinline Plus (a skinny guitar, with Pattern Thin carve) that CAM would double back and cop maybe 2 of the to be introduced " Thinline Pluses with the flamey/ stripey maple top (skinny cap or veneer , doesn't matter) PRS could successfully argue "The dude was buying chunky guitars!
It was reasonably unforeseeable that he would go back skinny ! !
So PRS, consider this a Public Service Announcement. With the concentration of Crimes Against Music, being committed with PRS guitars, you will need all the help against future litigation you can muster . (Kinda makes you feel like Smith & Wesson & Colt )
