Not bonding with my SSH

I haven't played my DGT with rosewood neck in awhile, so I pulled it out and realized what a badass guitar it is.
Which made me not appreciate my SSH as much as I should. So I decided to put the SSH on the chopping block. I want to replace it with a McCarty with a flame neck ( if there is such a thing) or a 594 with a flame neck. I really don't like the 594's bridge design and the switch placement. So I'm debating on getting a McCarty with a flame neck (again if it exists) or downgrading and getting a S2.semi hollow, since I liked the weight of my SSH. Any suggestions from you guys would be great.
