Not all Phase 2 Tuners the same!

ugh can’t win. Wanted to give my 06 CU22 a makeover by slapping on some hybrid hardware. The hybrid tuners were not available as a complete pack but I was able to pickup 3 tuners from West Street and three from an authorized PRS dealer.

First of all the “phase II” sold today are not a direct swap of the Phase 2 of 06. The stock ones are a bit thinner and the little mounting hole is slightly higher. I was able to get them on but the worst part is that PRS seems to have changed the hybrid tuners. What I assume is the older version has a chrome logo button whereas the “newer” version has a gold logo button. Doh! 2 of the 6 have the chrome butttons. Still looks good from afar but this is going to drive me nuts.

Also I am missing one gold pickup ring screw.

nice, try swapping the G and D tuners so you'll have the 2 chrome ones diagonally opposite each other
it would be more pleasing visually.

can't swap the G and D, they are opposite sides, won't work.
