NOSGD: Mark Tremonti Model

Well, after many a year lusting for one, and after about 5 months of shifting old gear and awaiting my work bonus and another cheque come through i finally found the one on eBay via The Axe Palace.

This is the best NGD i have ever had, and is the best New Old Stock i have ever laid my eyes on. I have only changed one thing, the strap buttons have been replaced for Schallers. The least amount of mods i have ever made to a guitar, ever.

MY PRS Tremonti has all the attributes i love from 3 other guitars of mine. The feel & position of my ESP LTD EC-1000VHB, the tone of my Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded and the comparative weight, but thankfully not all of it, of my PRS SE Tremonti. Think im gonna take my SEs pickups out and replace them with a Tremonti set soon, those pickups will make their way to my SE Mushok i think as they are a killer partnership in a Di Marzio Crunch Lab/PRS McCarty bass.

However, i have got an itch for a second Made in Maryland PRS now. Might have to liquidate some more 'stock' to get a second PRS, and if i was to do it im going for a SC250 this time i think.

Sweet guitar. They have the set up I wanted at least one of - two volume, two tone, upper bout switch, trem and singlecut. And much like you, it was a multi-year quest, but I finally found one at the last Experience. I'd actually found a goldtop a while before that, but I held off because Experience was coming.

This was a quest from about 2009/2010, when i started saving in my 'Tremonti Fund' that i still have. This year i was wanting to shift a good bit of gear to be able to afford a decent used PRS Singlecut/SC245/SC250 from 2001-2009 isn. It quickly became apparent that if i shifted enough gear id be able to afford my Tremonti if i imported it from the USA with duty and customs charges included.

I have missed out on about 5 or 6 Tremonti Models, 3 Used and 2 brand new ones, but none were a 10 top, so this is more than what i have ever wanted,
