I know a couple of dogs that are about to catch something real bad! I peek over into this section every day to be sure that no damage has been started. Look over there this morning, and this is what I see! Doesn't look like there's any actual Damage Done to the tolex or the speaker. So it will function. But the grill cloth is destroyed.

For those of you who don't know, I lost my dad last year to cancer. He moved into my music room for hospice. My mom is currently in there now until she figures out what she wants to do next. So far, I have been lucky. Not having all of my stuff in ONE location, locked up nice and safe, it "could" be worse than a grill cloth. But, I am not a "relic" loving kind of dude. This will not do.

Are there OEM replacement grill cloths for purchase from PRS? I know this is discontinued, but I figure

I mean, I can get close with grill cloth from Amazon for under 50 bucks. But you guys know me and my anti-relic / anti-mod mentality. But I am pretty sure that I won't find THAT cloth this many years out from it being in production.

I'd be incredibly ticked off. At least you're not replacing a speaker or worse.

We don't have pets. Wife and I just aren't home enough to care for a pets plus my downstairs is littered with amps cabs and guitars.

Our oldest daughter used to try and pressure my wife into letting her bring her dog for the weekend. I stop that dead in it's tracks and she doesn't ask anymore.

Wife thinks I'm a hard a$$.

Look at mojotone. They have a bunch of different grill cloth to match most all of the major amp manufacturers. I have bought both tolex and grill cloth from them.

Not at all "amp related," but call around to various furniture-upholstery places. If you're able to procure the right grillcloth from Mojotone (see above) then I think a place like that would be well-positioned to take your cabinet apart, re-upholster it, and fix it right up.

Yep, I did a Marshall 4x12 cab with Mojotone fabric and liked the quality and appearance. it’s been on the cab for a while now, and is still looking good with no funky wavy spots, as some grill cloth can do. Sorry to hear, and see, that damage Dankat! My wife keeps telling me they are wild animals at heart and just doing what they do when Dog damage occurs.

Doesn't stop me from being pissed though.

I'll describe the technique I use to keep my wife's 80+ lbs doggie away from my gear which I keep in the downstairs jam area.

The first thing I do is elevate all my amps onto stands, even if I have to make them myself. THEN I took her folding exercise mats, layered them all together and stood them on edge to make a little wall barrier deterring him from getting to where the amps and drum set are placed in the room. (That pink stuff in the photo.)

He also likes to mark what he thinks is his territory. So he has never tried to defeat the improvised barrier but will routinely pee on the carpet right at the barrier. This is immediately followed by me hollering upstairs something which usually sounds like... "Why did someone let the dog down here again? I need someone to clean up this pee!" (We have a carpet shampooer in the laundry room on stand by for such occasions as this is all a regular routine in my house.)
