Noobie

As in the vernacular of my ancestral homeland "C'ead mille failte!" (1000 welcomes).
Bought my first PRS 4 years ago and snuck in here what, a year or so later? I am the perpetual novice with chops, but I manage to bumble my way along the fretboard with occasional flashes of complete mediocrity.🤣 Nobody treats me badly for it, in fact I think they accommodate me out of mirth and merriment. The world needs more comic relief I reckon.
But seriously, this is a warm and friendly place. One word of warning, the addiction is very real...PRS guitars are not solitary creatures, and eschew loneliness. They speak parceltongue or some weird lingo that has you helplessly forever in its grasp. You will find ways to justify, nay "require" obtaining more!
And never, ever tell your significant other what you paid for them, just like motorcycles. It's never a winning scenario.😉

Welcome and you will definitely learn things from this forum. I did not pick up a guitar until April 2024 at the age of 63 so a similar scenario to you. Bought the first PRS from Wildwood in CO and the second off Reverb this fall.
