Noob pickup swap question

Attempting to finally grow up and do my own pickup swaps… changing the bridge on my s2 594. I read that the SD wiring diagram for 2 hum/tone/vol should be what to use but where the wires are going don’t seem to match up with where they’re going from the S pickup. Do I follow the diagram or do I try and replicate the how it’s already wired? Color codes of the wires seem to be different

Can't really help with the original question but I'll just say that the S2 594 control cavities are SMALL and would be a tough project for a first pickup switch. But the intent is a good one; the pickups were a large part of why I don't still have my '22 S2 McCarty SC 594 and all the pups on the SEs got changed.

Go to prs web page and look under support tab. You can find wiring diagram for your prs. That will tell you what wire colors are for.
