You're in the the realm of a lot. Still fnd it weird to comment on something not remembered and again referencing se.

Huge fan of the Korean se, that with kroina is a sweet match.
since you've said it twice now i feel ok saying what you find weird or don't find weird is of no interest to me...

Your Opinion? Kind Of Like How I Was Sharing My Opinion? ;)

I Apologize, I Had No Idea What The Words Meant That I Was Using In My Post. I Was Just Pulling Words Out Of Thin Air And Hoping They Would Come Together And Mean Something. ;)

All Joking Aside...

Since You Are New To The PRS Forum (Welcome By The Way) And You Are Not A Fan Of PRS Guitars I Am Curious About A Couple Of Things.
1; What Is A Good Guitar To You? Maybe You Could Teach Me Some Things?
2. If You Don't Like PRS, Why Join The PRS Forum? Wouldn't You Have A Better Time At Your Favorite Guitar Brand Forum? Just Curious. :)
i think i ended my first post by saying prs makes fine guitars...so that's the first lesson...when someone say that's a fine guitar they are not bashing the guitar...example...that guitar sucks is bashing a guitar...they make nice guitars is not bashing a guitar...a good guitar to me is a well assembled instrument made with and i joined this forum because i had just bought a prs

i started to say a good guitar to me is one that uses quality components that fit together well and one that is comfortable to play and sounds good so...there's a long list of brands that make good guitars...including prs

Had a lot, sold a lot.
Majority of my PRS are keepers, three different Private Stock builds will never leave my possession…until I’m past caring, about anything…lol.

But the one non PRS that is also a keeper and I love to death is my Keisel Aries 6.
Build quality is close to PRS core but the neck is the fastest I have ever played.
I honestly don’t remember what the pups are but they scream.
It’s a hard rock/ heavy metal guitar through and through, it doesn’t do subtle…lol.
And it’s a very unusual shade of pastel mint green.
Will edit shortly to include a picture.

We've established your without conscious decision behavior when you can't remember what guitars you owned
i don't know what "decision" you are talking about and i am curious what you mean by the term "we've" that you started your comment with

idk what alot of guitars means to you but just for reference the starla i just bought and sold was number 11 so far this year...and thats average for this time of year...and i don't remember them all...the ones i found exceptional i remember...some of the wierd ones i remember...as far as commenting on them here i remember them enough for a general comment on the brand on a rando website...in addition to those i have owned i have play i'm sure 100 more over the years...again...all well built just nothing special about them...funny enough i spent about an hour today at a local shop playing a 2010 singlecut korina se...i kinda liked it

lol...don't confuse randomly passing time with interest

This is a PRS forum, owned by the Company itself.

You seem to lack focus: there's the word "randomly" and "rando" in both posts above. this may be what's causing the confusion among others here, who generally exhibit at least a modicum of coherence when then they spend their money on an instrument (or comment on a specific Manufacturer's forum).

Your diffidence, OTOH, is already proving an obstacle to successful engagement here. What about this do you find surprising?

wow...i don't lack focus...i don't know why/how the words rando or randomly would cause confusion amoung others here...lol...or anywhere else for that matter...i am not sure why you are telling me that others here exhibit at least a modicum coherence when they spend their money on an instrument or make a comment...and i don't exactly know what diffidence and i don't really care what it neans enough to look it up...suprised?

Unsurprisingly, no.

And while we're at it: if you're going to quote me, try not to mangle what I actually wrote

I have always wanted to try one of those. One of those brands I have only heard good things about them in the rock - metal realm.

ok...i am new here because i bought a prs se starla less than a month ago...it's gone already...it was probably my 6th or 7th try...a couple of us builds and some ses'...the company makes a nice guitar but they are really nothing out of the ordinary
So getting back to this...

OK, you aren't drawn to whatever mojo that PRS seems to have for the majority of the folks on this forum. I get that. Some folks go nuts over the various editions of Fender Stratocasters, and I just don't get it - to me, they are "just another guitar". So I understand you currently don't have, and may never have, a PRS guitar in your collection.

Keep in mind, as others have noted, this is a forum hosted by PRS itself. So this is a very fan-based community. Many of us have met Paul himself, and attended Experience at the factory, and are unabashed fanbois, as it were. So it seems off-putting to make a comment mid-thread about how you have owned PRS guitars and never bonded with them. I don't go into my neighbor's house and tell them how I don't like their drapes, and how I used to have drapes but sold them because they never seemed special.

So the question is: are you looking for suggestions for other PRS models to try that maybe would appeal to you? Or are you just here to tell us you don't like our drapes?

I owned a Luke 3 BFR and have a suhr Modern satin still. Id say both are on par with the fretwork you get from PRS, but PRS still finds a little more...mojo in the overall look and feel. The Luke i had was severely heavy with a tiny neck. The suhr is great, but their pricing gets so outlandish real quick and its hard to come across models that arent just a phenomenal strat for 4 grand.

I don’t know about “better” but PRS guitars are consistent and always playable right out of the box. They don’t need to visit a luthier before being usable. Even the SE line. I have a Hollowbody SE piezo and it was flawless.

do tell...what did you decide was misquoted? i just reread your post and it seems i responded to all your pointless points...lol...see what i did there?

is this a church? i never in a single post said prs guitars are bad guitars...i said i have tried several and that they were all well built instruments but i didn't find them to be any different than all the other well made guitars so...at some point i even said that i had just play another that very day and was quite enamored with it...i still am and i may buy it...so i don't understand all the flap...now if this is a church like forum then it makes some sense
