No to low volume in neck position, faulty switch or bad wiring?

Got this Mira, changed its pickups months ago.

The neck position gradually got worse to the point where 80% of the time I flip to neck the position it's either very low volume or no sound at all.

If I wiggle the blade switch tip a bit while in neck position, the sound resumes normal. If I flip to the middle position, there're some static noises in the process but the sound is solid.

What could this be? It's a PITA to open up the Mira and check the wiring but I'm gonna do it. I'm a long time Les Paul user so I understand how a 3 way toggle switch work internally, but how does a blade switch work internally? If it's a faulty switch can I take it apart and fix it myself?

Sounds like a switch to me. Its an easy fix for some it will depend on your experience and tool availability, screwdriver, wire snips and soldering iron.

Good luck!

See pics below to understand how they work. There are more contact points and possibilities for loose connections. It could be just a dirty contact, but if it's a PITA to get out, it's up to you if it might be worth just replacing it for ~$30 so you don't have to open it up again.
