A few weeks ago, I got a new SE NF3. About a half hour into playing it thru my amp, the sound totally cut out. I plugged in another guitar to make sure it wasn't the cable or amp, and it produced sound as expected. So I unstrung my NF3, unscrewed the pickguard, and very gently pushed/pulled all the wiring looking for a loose connection. Found nothing. With the pickguard still off, I plugged the NF3 back into my amp and there was sound when I touched each of the pickup's pole pieces with a small screwdriver. Cool. Put everything back together, and went on my merry way. Now, probably about 2 hours later of playing, the sound cut out again.
Should I just resolder all the wiring beneath the pickguard? I'm thinking there's at least 1 bad solder joint. IMHO, the OEM soldering looked pretty amateurish.
