I have custom 22 that I replaced the original Dragon II's with 59/09's a couple years ago. Absolutely love these pickups, especially the bridge. This is a 2008 CU22 with a rotary selector. Today I noticed that I'm not getting any sound out of the neck pickup. Wouldn't think it would be the pickup. Maybe the rotary? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

check your connections. with the switch on the neck only, do you here audio when you plug in the cable from amp? with the switch in middle, do you get sound from pickups, if not the neck but bridge, you could have a bad pot, lose or separated wire, connection grounding out the volume pot or a bad selector switch, is the switch being grounded out on the neck selection. Best way to trouble shoot is to open control cavity and take a look. plug it into the amp and play with switch and pots to narrow down to the issue.

Thanks wardog! I removed the control cavity cover. I did not see any loose connections, nor did I get any signal in neck position by lightly touching/moving wiring. The bridge pickup is active in four of the the five rotary positions as would be expected but the neck is not in its positions. I'm ok this weekend and will get it to my tech next week. Thanks again for the reply.

No sound at all often means a short to ground. No signal but 60Hz hum would point you to an open lead somewhere. HTH.
