So the Mrs. is going on a business trip for a few days next week. Her company decided to hire Bon Jovi for entertainment. The bad bad part is. NO spouse allowed. Can you believe this? Last year was The Jack Brown Band. This year is Bon Jovi. Wonder who they will hire next year???

Sorry to hear about this. Maybe it'll get snowed out, and the company will cancel the trip...

A divorce attorney?

Seriously, that’s too bad Eddie. You‘d think the company would have the foresight to see the turmoil this may cause.

Is Jon your wife’s “hallpass” per chance?:p

Ha ha ha.

My wife and I were flying back from an Anniversary trip a few years ago and we were seated next to what seemed to be a reasonably nice fella.

We were chatting up all the way home and I don't remember HOW we got on the subject but I had mentioned how my wife thinks Mel Gibson was hot. I also mentioned that he was her "hall pass".

This guy says "really???? Everybody says I look like Mel Gibson!"

My wife said "Aaaah, no you don't."

Chatting went cold after that.......

I worked for a large hotel corporation that held an annual convention in various cities around the US. Attendees purchased color coded tickets for various events during the weekend. That way, you didn’t need to pay for events that held no interest. No restrictions on spouses, but 21 and older only. Just pay ahead, and wear your badge at all times. One big concert/dinner at the end. We had some pretty cool bands/stars. I remember:

The Doobie Brothers
Brian Setzer Orchestra
Reba McIntyre
Burt Bacharach
Liza Minnelli
Kenny Rogers

Those evenings were the only fun, as the rest of the time you were bustin your a$$.
