My Soapie itch is scratched by my first (and oldest) PRS, a 2004 SE Soapbar that I’ve had since 2006 or so. It’s had the best fret dressing job and setup that money can buy, which was worth every penny. At some point I also put Lollars in it, which was a waste of perfectly good money because the original P90s sounded better _and_ were hum cancelling in the middle position. I also have an Eastman SB55 double cut with a single P90 which is a fabulous instrument; I prefer it over the Soapbar One because it has a tone control and me thinks that’s vital on a one-pickup guitar.
