So the new Vela Semi that I got 2 weeks ago had nut issues from the previous owner, as discussed in my "well poop" thread. Ordered nut, found a tech, and got her back today. In the meantime, also got a new pick guard, and new lampshades since I received her with horrid black Gibson speed knobs. She's nicely dressed up in time for band practice tonight. And yes, from my "do you name your guitars" thread, her name is Simmons.

And of course, have to include the pic with her partner in crime, Daisy:

Those changes look SWEET!

Both the pick guard and the knobs make a big difference! Looking good! I should have the stained tuner buttons and TRC's for my two babies in the next week or so! Play it like you stole it!!!

I'm gonna say the Vela is one of the more Unique offerings from PRS...between sounds and appearances, and I'm pretty sure everyone that picks one up loves them...(almost;):D).
Nice Pair, BTW!!!!!!

The Girls of Shield collection are knock-outs!

Mrs Aahzz and I are just finishing up our third watch-through, almost done with season 7 and fervently wishing they'd bring it back :)

Yeah, seems like most everyone loves them, and nobody is "meh". I've seen a couple people over at The Gear Page that absolutely hate them, but seems to be a rather small minority. For me, I've finally found the tone I've had in my head for so many years...
