NKD - Again. My Time Here May Be Short!

Just brought my wife home with her second new knee in just over a year. God, she acts like me with PRSi! I think she's got KAS and bad!!!

In all seriousness, it's something she's really needed for a while - they just wanted to wait until she got older. Last year, the replacement went well, but her other knee deteriorated pretty badly during the year. It was going to need replaced regardless, but it did get worse. If any of you saw her hobbling around like she just got out of Zed's basement at Experience, the last month or so was way worse.

So, I figure I've got 6-8 weeks until she's steady enough on her feet to seriously kick my a$$, so if I suddenly go silent, you know why!

I think you should be out shopping for guitars and amps while you can still get away with it without an ass-kicking.

By the time the knee heals, you'll have waited on her hand and foot and she might be in a forgiving mood.

Everyone I know who got knee replacement surgery says the same thing -- "I wish I'd done it sooner".

Glad she's on the mend. Hopefully she feels better when it's all said and done, I know it helped my mom a bunch after both hers got done. I give her props for putting up with you, not sure how she does it!
